Sunday, January 02, 2005 [ Drunken Dial ] We all know that people should take away the car keys of a drunk person, but do we all know that we should also take the drunk person's cell phone away, too?Case and point: for two New Year's in a row, I've received a drunken dial. Last year's was from a guy I used to hang out with the previous summer, but hadn't called for months because I feared that he was semi-stalking me. This year's was from a guy that Chris and I think is really cool, but to be quite honest, we haven't ever really hung out with him. Emphasis on ever. He called my cell phone and literally spelled out his name, then proceeded to leave us a three minute happy new year's message. Needless to say, I made darned sure to save the voice mail. I am hoping that one day we will be really good friends and I can use the message as some sort of blackmail because it's that hilarious. Let this be a lesson to you all: Don't drink and drive... or dial.
